Spring Hill workers vote for GM deal

Workers at UAW Local 1853 in Spring Hill, Tennessee, which represents some 3,000 workers, voted 88.2 percent in favor of the amendment, an official said.

"The men and women of United Auto Workers Local 1853 have overwhelmingly approved the union’s proposed new deal with General Motors, which will give the UAW a stake in the company."
